The General Manager position at Wendy's plays a pivotal role in driving the daily operations of the restaurant, reporting directly to a District Manager. This role is designed for a proactive leader who excels in overseeing all facets of restaurant management, including financial controls, team leadership, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations. As a General Manager, you will be tasked with maintaining day-to-day financial oversight, creating and managing effective work schedules for staff, and handling hiring and training processes. The General Manager is also responsible for ensuring food handling and equipment maintenance standards are strictly followed while guaranteeing the facility meets all health and safety inspections.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years or more RGM experience preferably in high volume food service concepts
  • flexibility to work 50 to 55 hours per week including rotating shifts, weekends and holidays but closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas
  • valid driver’s license in good standing and access to private transportation
  • consent to background screening including criminal, driving and drug screening
  • high school diploma or equivalent and possess all documents required by state and federal law
  • able to walk and stand for long periods
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
