Job Description
This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products. This franchisee operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. It is essential to understand that the franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling of employees. McDonald's USA does not have control over any employment decisions or processes related to this position and will not receive any employment applications or participate in interviewing or hiring decisions. Applicants hired for this role will be employees of the franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
The position offered is for a General Manager role within this franchise-operated McDonald's restaurant. This role is integral to the successful operation of a high-volume quick service restaurant, focusing on profitability and adherence to McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager is tasked with setting and achieving restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and leading a team of Department Managers. By coaching, directing, and helping Department Managers to meet their departmental goals, the General Manager ensures the overall success of the restaurant.
This leadership role requires managing multiple facets, including hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to maintain a team that is capable of driving the restaurant towards continuous improvement and business growth. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience as a General Manager, ideally with a track record of running high volume quick service locations. Experience in hospitality or retail sectors is considered advantageous. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to serve as a manager in corporate-owned and operated McDonald's restaurants.
