Unlike McDonald’s USA, which is a separate entity, the franchisee is the direct employer responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, supervision, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous management experience in a high volume restaurant or similar environment
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong organizational skills
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- excellent interpersonal skills
- must be 18 years or older
Job Qualifications
- previous general manager experience in high volume locations
- experience in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail
- strong leadership and coaching skills
- ability to set and achieve goals
- excellent communication skills
- minimum age of 18 years
Job Duties
- run a profitable restaurant
- ensure the restaurant meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- set restaurant goals with leadership
- create plans to achieve goals
- lead a team of Department Managers
- help Department Managers set and track goals
- provide coaching and direction to improve departments
- hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
