Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant that operates under a franchise license to use McDonald’s branding and food products but is owned and managed by an independent franchisee. This independent franchisee is legally distinct and separate from McDonald’s USA, meaning all employment-related matters — including hiring, firing, scheduling, and employee supervision — are handled solely by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA has no control over or involvement in employment decisions at this location. This ensures that the franchisee operates independently while maintaining the high standards and recognized brand identity associated with McDonald’s.

The position being offered is for a General Manager at this franchised McDonald’s restaurant, a role that demands exceptional leadership, operational, and customer service skills. The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the restaurant runs profitably and that it consistently meets McDonald’s critical standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are rigorous and key to maintaining McDonald’s reputation worldwide. As the leader of the restaurant, the General Manager works closely with their leaders and a team of Department Managers to establish clear goals and develop actionable plans to achieve those goals effectively.

The General Manager’s responsibilities include providing management and operational leadership across all restaurant functions.
