Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Proven success as restaurant manager
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move equipment
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Effective communication abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • College coursework or degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proven success as a restaurant manager
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems and computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • Build teams by identifying, recruiting and hiring the best talent
  • Coach, develop and motivate team members following Capriotti’s training standards
  • Prepare team schedules focusing on operational excellence and cost management
  • Role model standards and maintain culture for CAPtivating Service
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety and building maintenance
  • Prepare products according to specifications ensuring quality and presentation
  • Manage cash and bank deposits
  • Monitor budgets, cost of goods sold, labor, payroll and financial transactions
  • Promote salesmanship and suggestive-selling at the register
  • Use effective purchasing, inventory, receiving and waste-monitoring procedures
  • Participate and lead in brand-wide and local marketing initiatives
  • Utilize effective oral, written and listening communication skills
  • Establish an environment of trust within the shop
  • Demonstrate emotional resilience and problem-solving capabilities
