Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience
- Strong understanding of profit and loss management and drivers of restaurant profitability
- Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed for proper functioning of the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience
- Strong understanding of profit and loss management and factors that impact restaurant profitability
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
- Proven understanding of guest service principles and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed for the proper functioning of the restaurant
Job Duties
- Manage the restaurant daily operations and oversee a team of 20-45 employees including Assistant Managers and Hourly Shift Coordinators
- Take primary accountability for the restaurant profit and loss (P&L) and actively manage financial outcomes to ensure profitability
- Review key P&L lines regularly to identify opportunities for increasing restaurant profitability
- Drive sales through proactive guest service, people development, and effective operations management
- Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, friendly, and fast service while maintaining a clean facility
- Manage the guest experience by timely response and resolution of guest feedback and issues
- Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of new team members to build and retain a high-performing restaurant team
- Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to enhance team capabilities and raise overall restaurant performance
- Optimize labor scheduling for managers and team members to maintain operational efficiency
- Enforce compliance with government regulations, employment laws, and Burger King policies
- Ensure adherence to operational and brand standards at all times
- Perform duties of Assistant Manager and Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary to maintain smooth operations
