At the 2661 Campus Dr location in Minneapolis, MN, we are seeking a dedicated General Manager to oversee all in-store operations and uphold the high standards that Jimmy John's is known for. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000, making it a rewarding opportunity for motivated individuals with leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence.

As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the store functions efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include managing staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage, overseeing food safety protocols to maintain compliance and customer safety, managing inventory and stock ordering to keep the store well-equipped without overstocking, and controlling costs such as COGS to optimize profitability. You will also be responsible for cash handling and ensuring brand compliance, guaranteeing that all operations align with company standards and policies.

This role demands a self-motivated and dynamic individual who excels at leadership and possesses the ability to execute company systems and procedures with absolute integrity. You will be expected to maintain the store in exceptional order, ensuring that every employee is performing their duties properly and efficiently. The General Manager must be capable of handling high-stress and fast-paced situations, making quick decisions to keep the store running smoothly.

Additionally, this position requires physical stamina to meet the demands of the work environment. The successful candidate must be able to lift 30 to 40 pounds regularly throughout shifts, stand, bend, reach, and scoop as needed, and be mobile within walk-in refrigerators and freezers with temperatures ranging from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

The General Manager will also take on a coaching role, task-managing employees and training them across various positions including Assistant Manager, Person In Charge (PIC), InShopper, and Delivery Driver roles as necessary.
