This particular opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, a separate company licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products. The franchisee is the direct employer, responsible for all hiring, training, and employee management decisions.

The General Manager role at this McDonald's restaurant is crafted for individuals passionate about leadership, operational excellence, and fostering a team-oriented culture. Responsible for managing a high-volume restaurant, the General Manager oversees critical areas such as quality control, customer service, cleanliness, and profitability. They develop strategic goals in partnership with their leader and execute plans that drive the restaurant's success. This position requires hands-on management to inspire and lead Department Managers, ensuring they set targets, follow up regularly, and receive the coaching needed for continuous improvement.

As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the team by hiring and developing talented Department and Shift Managers, preparing them to lead the business into the future. Your ability to create a positive work environment and foster collaboration is essential to maintaining high standards and exceeding customer expectations. Past experience as a General Manager in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is highly desired, especially in managing high-volume locations.

This role offers more than just a job; it provides a career path with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement. Competitive pay and a monthly bonus program that can reach up to $850 per month or $10,200 annually reflect the value McDonald's places on exceptional leadership. The company supports your professional growth with programs such as Archways to Opportunity, which includes opportunities to earn a high school degree, college tuition assistance, and English as a Second Language classes.

Employees enjoy generous vacation time that increases with tenure, retirement planning with a 401K plan coupled with company matching, and extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Additional benefits include pre-tax flexible spending accounts, short- and long-term disability plans, life insurance, and employee service awards recognizing years of contribution.

McDonald's is committed to diversity and equality, ensuring a discrimination-free workplace where all employees have equal opportunities to thrive. Reasonable accommodations are made available for individuals with disabilities to participate fully in hiring and employment processes.
