The role of the General Manager at this Wendy's location is a full-time, exempt position, responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the store to achieve established standards of sales, local marketing, and profitability. This position involves comprehensive oversight of both the human and operational aspects of the restaurant, including hiring and training management and crew members, setting and meeting budget goals, conducting quality and service assessments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

The General Manager is expected to meet budgeted sales targets, control costs effectively, and adapt to market conditions by executing responsive local marketing plans. They manage operating budgets monthly, handle variance reporting, and develop strategies to improve sales and profits. Staffing responsibilities are extensive, including hiring, training, retaining staff, and ensuring sufficient manpower for all shifts. Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience in operations
  • 1-2 years management or operations experience in the restaurant industry
  • must be able to perform all restaurant operations positions and functions
  • standing for long periods without breaks

  • ability to travel to multiple stores
