The General Manager role at Wendy's is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Reporting directly to a District Manager, the General Manager leads the restaurant management team by providing direction, training, and expertise to ensure that all customer expectations are exceeded. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing the restaurant's financial controls, staff scheduling, and team development. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have or be willing to obtain SERV Safe certification by the end of training
  • Secure reliable transportation to travel to the home store and other locations occasionally
  • Willingness and ability to stand and move for most or all of the shift
  • Ability to use restaurant equipment such as headset, register, or grill
  • Eligible to work in this country and pass a background investigation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
