The role of the General Manager at Wendy's is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the General Manager ensures that the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. This position requires a proactive leader who can maintain day-to-day financial controls to meet budget goals, create and manage effective staff schedules to maximize labor efficiency, and lead a team dedicated to upholding Wendy's standards of service and quality. Job Requirements
- 2 years plus restaurant general manager experience
- flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- valid driver’s license in good standing and access to private transportation
- consent to background screening, including criminal, driving and drug screening
- high school diploma or equivalent and possess all documents required by state and federal law
- able to walk and stand for long periods
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
- demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, results oriented and customer service focused
