Job Requirements

  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends as business dictates
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to train and motivate staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management and ordering systems
  • Competence in handling cash and paperwork
  • Understanding of customer service excellence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Manages a staff of approximately 3 to 20 employees
  • Manages hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and termination of employees
  • Provides on-the-job training for new employees
  • Works with employees to be more efficient to meet budget expectations
  • Looks for areas to decrease cost and discusses with Area Manager
  • Holds yourself and employees accountable for responsibilities
  • Delegates and oversees ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize loss
  • Assists in the supervision of food preparation, sales, and service
  • Forecasts food items consumption per shift
  • Supervises food preparation and service during duty
  • Assists shoppers in greeting customers, taking orders, using the cash register, assembling and checking orders
  • Ensures every customer receives world-class customer service
  • Routes deliveries and serves drivers to maximize delivery speed
  • Completes daily food preparation tasks
  • Executes systems and procedures with complete integrity
  • Completes daily and weekly paperwork
  • Manages cash drawers during shifts
  • Controls inventory using weekly inventory systems
  • Receives and stores product
  • Creates new ideas to increase sales with Area Manager
  • Conducts weekly manager’s meetings
  • Audits systems, procedures, and paperwork
  • Completes preventive maintenance and upkeep on equipment
  • Performs other related duties as required
