Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
- perform repetitive motions including chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting and reaching above eye level
- capability to walk stairs and use step ladder
- occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with appropriate equipment
- move quickly and efficiently in kitchen environment
- compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays
- work in a loud, fast-paced environment
- exposure to varying temperature zones including hot kitchen and cold storage areas
- exposure to heat, noise and cleaning chemicals
- use of personal protective equipment and training
- adaptability to indoor and outdoor job duties
- awareness of hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- proven leadership and team development skills
- strong customer service ability
- financial acumen in budgeting and cost control
- excellent problem-solving skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- attention to detail especially regarding food quality and safety
