The combination of freshly sliced meats, crisp shredded lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and real Hellmann’s mayonnaise creates the signature flavor that has made Jimmy John’s a beloved sandwich destination since 1983.

The General Manager role at Strange Allegro’s Jimmy John’s location is a full-time leadership position with an annual salary ranging between $50,000 and $60,000, plus a monthly earned bonus based on performance. This position is ideal for a hands-on, results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The General Manager is directly responsible for the overall success of the store, including day-to-day operations, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Success in this role requires someone who sets the tone for the team, holds everyone accountable, and leads by example rather than from behind a desk.

Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members and managers to meet and exceed operational standards. The General Manager ensures strict adherence to policies, procedures, and brand standards to maintain quality, speed, and cleanliness. Food safety and health compliance are prioritized at all times. Managing labor costs, food expenses, inventory, and ordering effectively to hit profitability goals is critical. In addition, the role involves creating staff schedules, overseeing payroll, and conducting performance reviews to foster continuous improvement and team engagement. The General Manager also plays a vital role in executing local marketing and community outreach initiatives that promote the brand and build customer loyalty.
