This role is a full-time, on-site General Manager position within Graspa Group, based out of Miami, FL. The General Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing daily restaurant operations and managing staff to guarantee that guests receive outstanding service and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing effective operational strategies, maintaining high standards of quality, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize business outcomes. Additionally, the General Manager will manage budgetary concerns, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and cultivate positive relationships with guests and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. The role demands a proactive leader who can uphold company values while driving operational efficiency, minimizing costs, and motivating the team to achieve their best performance. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • proficiency with restaurant management software
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • strong leadership team management and conflict resolution skills
  • experience with operational planning resource allocation and project management
  • knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and compliance standards
  • proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance guest experiences
  • proficiency in financial management including budgeting forecasting and expense control
  • effective communication and decision making skills
  • experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is highly desirable
  • bilingual spanish preferred
  • bachelor's degree in business hospitality management or a related field is preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food beverage supply utility and labor costs
  • responsible for ensuring that all financial invoices reporting and personnel payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • enforce sanitary practices for food handling general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • maintain professional restaurant image including restaurant cleanliness proper uniforms and appearance standards
  • estimate food and beverage costs
  • work with corporate office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste
  • estimate food needs place orders with distributors and schedule the delivery of fresh food and supplies
  • ensure positive guest service in all areas by greeting guests checking in and asking about their experience and service
  • respond to complaints taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents completes accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or employee is injured manage shifts which include daily decision making scheduling planning while upholding standards product quality and cleanliness
  • investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
  • provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
  • interview hourly employees
  • direct hiring supervision development and when necessary termination of employees train new employees
  • develop employees by providing ongoing feedback establishing performance expectations and by conducting quarterly conversation
  • maintain an accurate and up to date plan of restaurant staffing needs
  • prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts
  • provide strong presence in local community and high level of community involvement by restaurant and personnel
