Einstein Bros. Bagels is currently seeking a motivated and capable General Manager to join its team. This position is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" mindset. The General Manager will play an instrumental role in ensuring the store runs smoothly, delivers excellent customer service, and meets business goals including financial and operational targets.

The role involves managing one-shift-model store operations, typically starting early at 4 am to prepare for the first bake and store opening. Throughout the day, the General Manager ensures the store is audit-ready, manages catering, mobile, and in-store orders, and maintains exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities also include supporting the team during busy breakfast and lunch rushes by working in various positions as needed, managing breaks, and fostering a fun and motivated workplace culture. Store closing activities include prepping for the next day, managing schedules, ordering, inventory, and handling the daily deposit.

Einstein Bros. Bagels provides a comprehensive five-week training program to equip the General Manager with the skills and knowledge needed for success. Ideal candidates for this role will have 1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting and are hands-on leaders who motivate and inspire their teams. Experience with profit and loss analysis is beneficial, and proven strategies for managing food costs and labor targets are essential. Recruiting and developing quality team members is a vital part of the position, supporting ongoing growth and company success.

The General Manager role at Einstein Bros. Bagels offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $73,000 annually with additional attainable quarterly bonuses.
