The General Manager position is a leadership role designed for a passionate and experienced professional committed to overseeing all aspects of restaurant and bakery operations. This role demands a natural leader who excels at managing complex, high-volume hospitality environments while maintaining uncompromising standards across multiple operational areas. The General Manager will be responsible for building a strong culture centered on hospitality, teamwork, and accountability, ensuring that guests receive an elevated experience and that employees feel motivated and supported.

Operationally, this position includes direct leadership of front-of-house and back-of-house teams, guaranteeing smooth daily operations, compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintenance of the highest operational standards. The General Manager will also manage vendor relationships, oversee facility and equipment maintenance, and implement efficient systems that promote productivity and organizational success.

Team leadership and development are core components of this role. The General Manager will recruit, hire, train, coach, and mentor both management and hourly team members, ensuring ongoing professional growth through structured training plans and regular performance reviews. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 5 years restaurant management experience
  • proven leadership managing large teams
  • strong knowledge of hospitality and operational systems
  • experience with financial management including profit and loss and labor forecasting
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle high pressure situations calmly
  • familiarity with POS and restaurant technology preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience in high-volume hospitality or food and beverage environments
  • proven leadership experience managing large teams in fast-paced operations
  • strong understanding of hospitality, guest service, and operational systems
  • experience with profit and loss management, labor forecasting, inventory, and financial controls
  • excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented under pressure
  • flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • experience with point of sale systems and restaurant technology platforms preferred
