The hotel stands out in a competitive market by emphasizing quality service, effective leadership, and proactive management practices that protect and enhance the hotel’s physical and financial assets.
The role of Residential Hotel Manager is a pivotal position within this esteemed hotel, responsible for overseeing daily operations to meet and exceed planned goals for revenue and profit. This full-time employment opportunity demands a dynamic individual who can blend strategic management, operational oversight, and hands-on leadership to maintain guest satisfaction, employee morale, and quality assurance. The manager acts as the bridge between management goals and frontline hotel operations, driving a cohesive effort towards achieving financial targets while ensuring that guests receive top-tier service throughout their stay.
In this position, the Residential Hotel Manager will be instrumental in providing leadership, training, direction, and support to hotel employees. The manager's responsibilities include managing revenue through effective market analysis, setting competitive rates, and collaborating with sales teams to maximize occupancy and profitability. Close attention is given to financial results via budgeting, controlling labor and operational costs, and implementing company policies for purchasing and asset protection.
Maintaining high guest satisfaction rates is central to this role, which involves training staff in guest service excellence, addressing guest complaints personally when necessary, and managing quality improvement programs measured by guest feedback systems such as Medallia. Additionally, the manager must foster employee satisfaction by adhering to human resources policies, conducting training, managing payroll and personnel transactions, and promoting a positive work environment that minimizes turnover.
Furthermore, this role requires the manager to ensure the hotel’s physical condition is maintained according to high-quality standards. This entails overseeing preventative maintenance, quick repair programs, and ensuring that the hotel's appearance and functionality meet or exceed guest expectations. The ability to respond effectively to operational challenges in a fast-paced setting is essential, as is flexibility in work hours to address various operational demands.
Overall, the Residential Hotel Manager position demands a seasoned professional with a blend of hospitality expertise, financial acumen, leadership skills, and a customer-focused mindset. It offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a significant impact by steering the hotel towards sustained success in a competitive market environment.
