The General Manager role at Wendy's is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the daily operations and overall success of the restaurant. Reporting directly to a District Manager, the General Manager leads the restaurant management team by providing direction, training, and the expertise necessary to surpass customer expectations and achieve business goals. This position demands a hands-on leader who is deeply invested in coaching, developing staff, and maintaining a positive work environment. The General Manager ensures effective financial control and operational excellence, including maintaining day-to-day financials, creating and managing staff schedules, interviewing, hiring, and training team members, and overseeing staff coaching and counseling. A strong emphasis is placed on food safety, equipment maintenance, facility management, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- able to stand and move for most of the shift
- ability to use restaurant equipment such as headset, register, or grill
- must have or be willing to obtain SERV Safe certification by the end of training
- reliable transportation to travel to the home store and other locations occasionally for training and other tasks
- eligible to work in the country
- pass a background investigation
