This job opportunity is with one of Wendy's franchisees located at 4815 N Pima Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. As an independently owned and operated franchise, this location manages its own compensation, benefits, and career development programs, which may differ from corporate Wendy's locations. This General Manager position offers a dynamic and rewarding role in a fast-paced restaurant setting, leading a team dedicated to delivering fresh, quality food with exceptional customer service.

As a General Manager at this Wendy's location, you will be the first in command, working directly with the District Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that every customer experience is delightful, maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. The role involves team building, coaching, and developing staff, managing cash and inventory, scheduling, and handling opening and closing administrative duties.

The ideal candidate is someone with a minimum of one year of restaurant management experience, preferably in the quick-service or fast-casual sector. Bilingual candidates are preferred to better serve a diverse customer base. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a positive, engaging personality are essential. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, reflecting the active nature of restaurant management.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform mobility tasks such as bending, reaching, wiping, and carrying
  • Must be able to stand for long periods without a break
