The role of the 7Venture Stand Manager at 7 Brew is a critical leadership position responsible for the overall growth, profitable operation, and cultural preservation of their individual locations. Each Stand Manager acts as the primary leader for their crew, fostering genuine connections and guiding the team toward achieving operational excellence. As a Stand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations at your drive-thru coffee stand, including coaching and training staff, handling administrative duties, and ensuring a top-notch customer experience. You will report directly to a District Manager while taking ownership of your stand’s success through maintaining quality standards, operational efficiency, and team development. Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have and keep a valid driver's license
- Ability to work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather
- Can lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand comfortably for hours at a time
- Ability to climb ladders and use stepladders
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean
- Capability to safely walk in between and around cars in the drive-thru line
- Ability to quickly and cleanly operate any position in the stand during peak hours
- Ability to assertively and graciously confront coworkers to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with 40+ team members
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and email
- Ability to effectively lead and direct multiple personality types under pressure
- Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Adaptability in stressful situations and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to create uplifting interactions with customers and team
- Experience in coaching, training, and team development
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain awareness of operational performance while working a position
Job Duties
- Become proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets
- Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement
- Provide regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas of growth
- Work with their crew's needs and availability to create a weekly shift schedule, maintaining budgeted cost of labor while ensuring quick wait times and short lines
- Track and order necessary inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment, while maintaining a low cost of goods sold through eliminating waste and accurate counting
- Ensure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change for their stand
- Work in a self-sufficient manner and involve the district coach when the situation requires
- Ensure crew is knowledgeable and meeting all health and safety requirements
- Develop new leaders to step into future roles
- Promptly implement and communicate directives from upper management
- Thoughtfully delegate tasks to their leadership team and Brewistas to facilitate efficiency and appropriate development
- Responsible for hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions related to shift leads and baristas
