The General Manager role at Treehouse Hotels is a critically important position responsible for overseeing the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue and operational efficiency. This role requires a visionary leader who is both an innovator and a tactician, capable of setting a strong strategic direction while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in execution. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience operating a lifestyle property
  • Leadership skills including vision articulation, embedding values, and team direction
  • Ability to positively influence and develop a cohesive team
  • High visibility with guests and team members
  • Ability to think independently with autonomy and accountability
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial and financial hotel operations
  • Proven track record in executing successful hospitality concepts
  • Highly driven and passionate about hospitality
  • Strong communication and influencing skills both verbal and written
  • Passionate about leading hotel operations
  • Minimum 10 years progressive experience in upper upscale and/or luxury hotels
  • Minimum 3 years as General Manager in upper upscale or lifestyle hotels
  • Expert knowledge in hotel operations and leadership
  • Strong guest and team engagement track record
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility for 24-hour operation demands

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive related work experience in upper upscale and/or luxury hotel environments
  • At least 3 years experience as a General Manager in an upper upscale and/or lifestyle hotel
  • Proven expertise in hotel operations management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive guest and team member engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
  • Proven business acumen with experience managing key financial and commercial metrics
  • Experience in developing and operating successful hospitality concepts
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
  • Maximize revenue and optimize return on revenue (ROR)
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the hotel team to foster a strong, cohesive culture
  • Engage with guests and team members to anticipate opportunities and challenges
  • Implement and maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Guidance Team to achieve organizational objectives
  • Represent and uphold the brand’s image and values at all times
