The company prides itself on maintaining a friendly and inclusive work environment where employees are empowered to excel and grow professionally. Operating as a quick-service restaurant, Wendy's combines consistent operational excellence with a focus on customer satisfaction, making it a top choice for both employees and customers alike.

The position is full-time and involves leadership responsibilities that ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent guest experiences daily.

The role of General Manager at Wendy's is pivotal to the success of the restaurant. General Managers lead the restaurant management team and are responsible for providing direction, training, and expertise to exceed customer expectations. This leadership position requires overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s daily operations under the guidance of a District Manager. A successful General Manager at Wendy's creates a customer-first culture that motivates the team to deliver outstanding service and maintain high operational standards. This individual must possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, demonstrating commitment to leadership through active team development and promoting a culture of food safety. Balancing high-quality employee and guest experiences with operational achievements and financial goals is a critical part of this role.

Wendy’s invests in its leaders by providing paid training that equips you with the knowledge and skills required to lead effectively according to the Wendy’s Way. Career advancement opportunities abound, with team members encouraged to grow within and beyond restaurant roles. This position requires someone willing to lead by example, standing and moving throughout most of their shifts, actively using restaurant equipment such as headsets, registers, and grills. Prospective General Managers should be prepared to uphold brand standards to prepare quality food, serve customers efficiently, and maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.

This position also requires a willingness to obtain SERV Safe certification during training, secure reliable transportation for occasional travels to various locations, and meet age requirements of 21 years or older. Wendy’s prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities and promoting diversity across its workforce. The franchisee ensures all qualified applicants receive consideration regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
