This particular position of General Manager at Wendy's plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day success of the restaurant located at 101 Gateway Center Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. The General Manager serves as the leader of the restaurant management team, driving the business toward achieving its operational and financial goals. Reporting directly to a District Manager, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, managing staff schedules, and maintaining fiscal discipline. The role requires a strong focus on creating a customer-first environment, where each guest’s expectations are not only met but exceeded.

The General Manager at Wendy's is tasked with leading, training, and coaching the restaurant team, fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes employee growth and teamwork. This includes managing recruitment efforts such as interviewing and hiring, conducting orientation and ongoing staff development, as well as handling employee relations through coaching and counseling. Upholding proper food handling practices, equipment maintenance, and facility management are critical responsibilities to ensure the restaurant meets all health and safety inspections and maintains operational excellence.
