Job Description

Wendy's is a renowned international fast-food restaurant chain known for its quality food, innovative menu, and excellent customer service. Established in 1969, Wendy's has grown to become one of the largest global hamburger chains, committed to providing fresh, made-to-order meals to customers worldwide. The company prides itself on its values of quality, service, cleanliness, and value, ensuring an exceptional dining experience in every location. With a strong focus on community involvement and sustainability, Wendy's fosters an environment where employees can thrive, grow, and contribute meaningfully to the brand's ongoing success.

This job opportunity is with one of Wendy's many franchisees located at 2933 Eastway Drive, Charlotte, NC 28205. Each franchise is independently owned and operated, designing its own compensation, benefits, and career development programs which might differ from company-owned outlets. The role is that of a General Manager, a leadership position responsible for managing all aspects of restaurant operations while upholding the company’s high standards in quality, food safety, and customer service. This position is essential in driving the restaurant’s success by ensuring the achievement of operational objectives through effective execution of company policies, procedures, and systems.

As a General Manager at Wendy's, you will provide strong leadership and guidance to both management and crew teams, helping them grow professionally in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment. This role requires a hands-on approach, from training employees to overseeing daily operations and collaborating with other franchise locations or area offices when necessary. The General Manager is expected to embody the company’s values, focusing on delivering the best experience "one customer at a time." This demanding but rewarding job involves standing for long periods, traveling to other restaurants or offices, and being able to adapt to the multitasking nature of restaurant management.

The position offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid vacation, and performance-based incentives. Additional perks include payroll deduction plans for work footwear, credit union memberships, and one-on-one training. Wendy's supports its managers with ongoing development opportunities, ensuring continuous learning and growth within the organization.
