WKS Restaurant Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing multi-concept franchise restaurant developer and operator with a portfolio of over 300 stores across 17 states. They are a licensed franchisee managing well-known brands such as El Pollo Loco, Wendy's, Denny's, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Blaze Pizza, and Corner Bakery Cafe. Within this thriving corporate environment, the role of a Wendy’s Restaurant General Manager is crucial. The General Manager is responsible for the complete management of Wendy’s restaurant operations and staff. This includes implementing all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems to ensure that the restaurant achieves its operational objectives while adhering strictly to all company guidelines. The role demands a strong focus on compliance with federal, state, and local laws, along with upholding ethical business practices.

As a leader, the General Manager provides direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew members, fostering a positive work environment that promotes growth and teamwork. They oversee all aspects of restaurant activities, ensuring financial targets are met through careful oversight of profit and loss analysis, corrective actions, and performance management. The position requires proficiency in interviewing, training, budgeting, and planning to maintain a fully staffed and efficient operation that consistently delivers excellent customer service.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and life insurance with eligibility starting the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Employees can also participate in a 401k plan with up to a 4% company match and immediate vesting after one year of employment. Paid vacation is provided annually, starting with two weeks (10 days) accrued bi-weekly and increasing to three weeks (15 days) after five years of service. Certification requirements include completing GM Core classes and the Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion, and being Serve-Safe certified.
