Job Description

Andy B's is a prominent family entertainment center known for delivering an enjoyable and memorable experience to guests through activities like bowling, arcade games, and delicious dining options. The role of General Manager at Andy B's is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's operations to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for every guest. This position involves managing department managers, who in turn lead their respective teams, to meet and exceed service standards while maintaining operational excellence. As the General Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the culture of your facility by training, coaching, and motivating team leads to build high-performing teams grounded in Andy B's core values of teamwork, service, inspiring fun, and excellence.

You will be tasked with ensuring that all business functions run efficiently, including upholding standard operating procedures, maximizing financial performance by managing revenue and costs effectively, and promoting the Andy B's brand within the community. Your role will require a dynamic leadership approach, combining strategic planning with hands-on management to foster team engagement, support hiring and development, and enforce safety and operational standards. This position demands strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to lead by example in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the General Manager will collaborate closely with home office leadership to implement improvements in guest services and operational efficiencies. Successful candidates will be adept at balancing operational demands with the need to inspire and elevate guest satisfaction continuously. A commitment to exceptional guest interaction, staff development, and financial accountability is essential, along with the passion and competitive spirit to drive the facility's success and uphold Andy B's mission and values consistently.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • minimum of 3 years' experience in customer service and/or hospitality management
  • proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • ability to display a high degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
  • ability to frequently lift to 20 lbs
  • occasionally to 40 lbs
  • excellent time management, communication, and organization skills
  • ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team
  • genuine enthusiasm and competitive nature
  • successful completion of food handling and alcohol certifications required by local and state governments within first 90 days of employment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in customer service and/or hospitality management

Job Duties

  • Uphold company operations standards to ensure optimal safety and satisfaction for guests and team members
  • interact with guests to ensure the best guest experience

  • oversee all hiring, training, and development

  • maximize in-center revenue, minimize cost of goods sold (COGS), and meet labor cost targets
  • collaborate with leadership and Home Office staff to improve operations, guest experience, and team engagement
