Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independent franchisee who owns and operates a McDonald's restaurant. It is important to note that this franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos, food products, and branding while running the restaurant, but all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • experience in managing high volume restaurant locations
  • ability to lead and develop a management team
  • excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • strong customer service focus
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • able to uphold McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience managing high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail is an advantage
  • leadership and team management skills
  • ability to set and achieve goals
  • strong communication and coaching abilities
  • must be 18 years or older to manage corporate owned restaurants

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant
  • ensure the restaurant meets McDonald’s customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • work with leaders to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers and provide coaching and direction
  • monitor Department Managers' progress and improve department performance
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • support operational excellence and customer satisfaction
