Escapology is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Venue General Manager to lead its El Paso, TX location. This role offers much more than just managing a venue; it is a leadership position that demands ownership of both operational performance and company culture. The General Manager will be entrusted with recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing hourly team, ensuring the highest standards of guest experience at all times. This role requires someone who can strategically manage daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and comprehensive training programs, while effectively controlling labor costs, expenses, and overall profitability.

The Venue General Manager serves as the face of Escapology in El Paso, tasked with driving revenue growth through proactive local sales outreach and maintaining the elite standards set by the brand. This leader will be an on-site cultural builder who inspires and motivates the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment where exceptional customer service is the norm. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of hands-on hospitality management experience, particularly in customer-facing environments where adaptability and problem-solving under pressure are essential.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary of $65,000, with an achievable performance bonus of up to $35,000, allowing total annual earnings to reach $100,000 based on meeting key performance indicators. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan and 21 days of paid time off plus holidays, reinforcing the company’s commitment to rewarding and supporting its operators. This position is ideal for hospitality-focused managers who excel in operational leadership, guest relations, and team development and are looking for genuine ownership in a growing business with a vibrant brand reputation in El Paso.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of relevant management experience in restaurant hospitality fitness or entertainment
  • demonstrated leadership and team development skills
  • experience managing P and L statements and labor costs
  • strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • capability to handle guest issues professionally and efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of management experience in restaurant hospitality fitness or entertainment
  • proven ability to hire train and schedule hourly teams
  • experience owning P and L labor costs and revenue performance
  • ability to remain clear and calm under pressure and hold people accountable including oneself
  • experience handling guest complaints service failures and high-expectation crowds
  • demonstrated ability to build culture through behavior not title
