This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Chipotle during a period of rapid expansion, with new restaurants opening nearly every day. As a General Manager, you will play a critical leadership role, spearheading the growth of your restaurant while embodying and promoting Chipotle's mission to cultivate a better world. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $77,500 annually, complemented by quarterly cash bonuses tied to performance and other variable factors, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.

In the General Manager role, you will be at the forefront of restaurant operations and leadership. Your primary responsibilities involve building and nurturing a team, fostering a positive and winning culture, and managing the overall business performance. Your leadership will be instrumental in recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and mentoring crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices. You will leverage Chipotle's extensive training tools and resources to elevate your team's skills and drive excellence.

Operational leadership includes managing the full employee lifecycle, applying people processes, and performance management to maximize team effectiveness. You will take charge of daily business operations such as creating and managing schedules, controlling profit and loss (P&L), forecasting sales, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your accountability extends to maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and guest service throughout the restaurant to guarantee an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

This role demands a guest-obsessed mindset, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver speed, accuracy, and a positive customer experience consistently. You will also be responsible for leading digital order fulfillment and ensuring the dining environment is always inviting and guest-ready. The position requires working flexible hours including lunch, dinner, and weekends, to provide leadership coverage across all shifts.

Physical demands of the job include standing and walking for extended periods (up to 10 hours a day), lifting up to 50 pounds, working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and engaging in effective communication with team members and customers alike.
