This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $77,500 annually, complemented by quarterly cash bonuses tied to performance and other variable factors, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.

In the General Manager role, you will be at the forefront of restaurant operations and leadership. Your primary responsibilities involve building and nurturing a team, fostering a positive and winning culture, and managing the overall business performance. Your leadership will be instrumental in recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and mentoring crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices. You will leverage Chipotle's extensive training tools and resources to elevate your team's skills and drive excellence.

Operational leadership includes managing the full employee lifecycle, applying people processes, and performance management to maximize team effectiveness. You will take charge of daily business operations such as creating and managing schedules, controlling profit and loss (P&L), forecasting sales, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your accountability extends to maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and guest service throughout the restaurant to guarantee an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

This role demands a guest-obsessed mindset, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver speed, accuracy, and a positive customer experience consistently. You will also be responsible for leading digital order fulfillment and ensuring the dining environment is always inviting and guest-ready. The position requires working flexible hours including lunch, dinner, and weekends, to provide leadership coverage across all shifts.

Physical demands of the job include standing and walking for extended periods (up to 10 hours a day), lifting up to 50 pounds, working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and engaging in effective communication with team members and customers alike.

Job Duties

  • Be guest obsessed - uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
  • Ensure speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest obsessed experience
  • Be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and hiring, people processes and performance management
  • Train and develop crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices, utilizing Chipotle’s training tools and resources
  • Direct our team members to deliver accurate and on-time digital orders
  • Be accountable for the day-to-day operational business of your restaurant (creating and managing a schedule, P&L control and management, sales-forecasting, recruiting and interviewing)
  • Ensure the dining room remains clean and the restaurant is always guest-ready
  • Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
  • Be accountable for overall financial success of the restaurant, achieving annual sales and cash flow plan
  • Work a schedule that includes lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts to provide leadership across all hours of operation
