Job Description
BKC is a leading restaurant brand known for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. As a key player in the quick-service restaurant industry, BKC continuously strives to deliver an outstanding dining experience through its diverse menu offerings and customer-first approach. The company operates numerous locations with a reputation for inviting atmospheres and efficient service. BKC emphasizes a culture of teamwork, innovation, and community involvement, making it a destination not only for great food but also for rewarding careers. The company supports its employees' growth and development, promoting leadership opportunities and fostering an inclusive work environment where all team members can thrive.
The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) position at BKC is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the overall success of a single restaurant location. This role requires an executive leader who can balance profitability, guest satisfaction, people management, and operational oversight. The RGM reports directly to the District Manager and leads a team of 20-45 employees, including an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and Team Members. The primary accountability of the RGM is to drive the restaurant's profitability through active management of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring key financial metrics are optimized. Additionally, the RGM focuses on guest experience by motivating the team to deliver accurate, friendly, and fast service in a clean, welcoming environment. This includes promptly addressing guest issues and leveraging feedback systems to identify root causes and implement action plans.
Beyond financial and guest-focused responsibilities, the RGM is responsible for building and maintaining an effective team through recruitment, training, onboarding, and ongoing development. The Manager inspires team members by establishing recognition programs and providing coaching to enhance individual and collective performance. From an operations standpoint, the RGM manages labor scheduling, ensures compliance with governmental regulations and company policies, and maintains brand standards critical to the restaurant's reputation.
Working at BKC as a Restaurant General Manager offers a dynamic and rewarding career path with opportunities to influence every aspect of restaurant performance. Whether stepping in to perform the duties of Assistant Manager or Hourly Shift Coordinators when necessary or leading large-scale local marketing initiatives to engage the community, the RGM plays an integral role in the restaurant’s day-to-day and long-term success. This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to handle irregular shifts to support the restaurant’s operational needs. BKC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applications from all qualified candidates ready to grow their career in restaurant management.
