We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our vibrant locations. The General Manager at Eggs Up Grill plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of restaurant operations, encompassing team management, financial oversight, and guest satisfaction. This full-time role is designed for an individual with strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a passion for delivering excellent service. The GM will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the restaurant’s function including hiring, developing, and managing team members, controlling inventory and supply ordering, optimizing profitability, and guaranteeing that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
In this dynamic role, the General Manager must adhere to company standards and service levels while carefully monitoring and controlling food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs to increase sales and minimize expenses. Key responsibilities include managing all financial tasks such as invoicing, payroll, and reporting in compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintaining sanitary practices for food handling and overall cleanliness is paramount, as is ensuring compliance with operational standards, legal regulations, and company policies. The GM will also work closely with the kitchen management team to maintain consistent food quality and high service standards. Operational duties extend to ensuring security procedures are in place to protect staff, guests, and company assets and fostering a safe work and dining environment.
Leadership is central to the position. The GM directs personnel management, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, development, and when necessary, termination of employees. Providing ongoing feedback and conducting performance reviews helps in developing a motivated, productive, and harmonious team. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will embody the Eggs Up Grill DNA by presenting a professional image at all times and maintaining favorable relationships within the company and community. This position may require variable hours, especially when filling in for staff or handling unforeseen emergencies.

Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a restaurant management role
- Complete and maintain all required food service certifications and training courses
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must agree to background and credit check
- Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
- Proficient in restaurant functions including food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, policies, personnel management, record keeping, and reporting
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a restaurant management role

- Ability to perform prolonged physical activities including standing, bending, lifting up to 45 pounds, and handling restaurant equipment
Job Duties
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
- Complete all financial and personnel administrative duties accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and relevant laws and ordinances
- Ensure consistency and high quality of food preparation and service
- Maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards
- Estimate food and beverage costs and collaborate with management to efficiently purchase supplies
- Supervise portion control and preparation quantities to minimize waste
- Oversee Kitchen Manager’s management of food needs, ordering, and delivery scheduling
- Ensure positive guest service and respond to complaints to turn dissatisfied guests into returning customers
- Ensure proper security procedures to protect employees, guests, and assets
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce risk of injury
- Complete accident reports promptly as needed
- Manage shifts including scheduling and planning while upholding standards and quality
- Investigate and resolve complaints about food quality and service
- Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
- Interview, hire, supervise, develop, and terminate hourly employees as necessary
- Conduct orientation and training of new employees
- Develop employees through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
- Maintain accurate staffing plans and schedules
- Keep ownership informed of significant issues and take corrective action
- Foster a cooperative work environment to promote morale and productivity
- Present a favorable image of the company on and off the job
- Perform other duties as assigned
