This job opportunity is with a restaurant that operates under the McDonald's brand but is owned and managed by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos, trademarks, and signature food products. Despite this association, the franchisee is a distinct company and acts as the sole employer at the restaurant. All employment-related decisions—such as hiring, firing, supervision, discipline, staffing, and scheduling—are handled exclusively by the franchisee, independent from the national corporation, McDonald's USA. This independence ensures that the franchisee manages all aspects of employment without any interference from McDonald’s USA and your job application will be submitted exclusively to this separate employer.

The position offered is that of a General Manager, a leadership role vital to the restaurant's success. As General Manager, you will be responsible for running a profitable high-volume McDonald's restaurant and ensuring it meets the brand's critical standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are rigorous, requiring strong leadership skills to inspire and guide a team committed to delivering delicious food and exceptional customer experiences. You will work collaboratively with your own leaders and department managers to set ambitious operational goals and develop strategies to achieve them.

Your role as General Manager involves leading and supporting a team of Department Managers, each responsible for specific areas within the restaurant. You will coach, mentor, and provide clear direction to these managers to ensure their departments excel, which collectively improves overall restaurant performance. You will also likely be involved in hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers, shaping the future leadership of the restaurant. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience managing high-volume restaurant locations, with a strong preference for quick service restaurant backgrounds, as well as experience within hospitality or retail sectors. Being at least 18 years old is mandatory to qualify for management responsibility.
