Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independently owned and operated McDonald's restaurant franchise. Unlike corporate McDonald's locations, this restaurant is managed by a separate franchisee who holds the license to use the McDonald's logos, food products, and brand standards. This franchisee is solely responsible for all employment decisions, including hiring, supervision, scheduling, discipline, and firing. McDonald's USA has no direct involvement in these employment matters, making this position a unique chance to work within a well-established brand with the personalized focus and culture of an independent business owner.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • completed Hamburger University training or enrolled in the training path
  • prior management experience in high volume quick service restaurants preferred
  • ability to lead and develop a team
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • commitment to maintaining brand quality, service, and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous general manager experience running high volume locations
  • experience in quick service restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry
  • completed or currently enrolled in Hamburger University training path
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • age 18 or older

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant meeting McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • set restaurant goals with leadership and create plans to meet them
  • lead and coach Department Managers to improve department performance
  • follow up on departmental progress and provide direction
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • maintain high operational standards and customer satisfaction
  • manage staffing and scheduling to ensure efficient operations
