This job posting is for a General Manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is licensed to use McDonald’s brand name, logos, and food products, but it operates as a separate, independent company from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee—not McDonald’s USA—will be your employer and responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to customer service excellence
- Flexibility to work varied hours
Job Qualifications
- Previous General Manager experience running high volume locations
- Background in quick service restaurants preferred
- Experience in hospitality or retail is desirable
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and coaching abilities
- Ability to set and achieve business goals
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant
- Ensure critical customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are met
- Work with leaders to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
- Lead and coach Department Managers
- Provide direction to improve restaurant departments
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily restaurant operations
