Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant that operates under a McDonald's franchisee model. This means that the restaurant is independently owned and operated by a franchisee who holds the license to use McDonald's logos, branding, and food products. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • prior general manager experience in high volume restaurants preferred
  • ability to lead and manage teams effectively
  • strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to adhere to McDonald’s quality service and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a General Manager in high volume restaurant locations
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • background in quick service restaurants hospitality or retail preferred
  • ability to set goals and achieve business targets
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • basic understanding of business operations and financial management
  • ability to work in a fast paced customer focused environment

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s standards of quality service and cleanliness
  • collaborate with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
  • lead and support a team of Assistant Managers by setting goals coaching and monitoring their progress
  • hire train and develop Assistant and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • oversee restaurant operations to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • manage staffing scheduling and employee performance to optimize productivity and morale
