As a General Manager, you will lead from the front, shaping a winning team culture and running an efficient, high-performing restaurant business. This full-time position involves direct responsibility for hiring, training, and developing team members as well as managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including scheduling, financial management, sales forecasting, and compliance with food safety and operational standards.

Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring the restaurant not only meets but exceeds service speed, accuracy, and guest experience expectations. You will be entrusted with upholding the company’s celebrated guest-obsessed hospitality standards and keeping the environment clean, safe, and appealing at all times. This role also includes accountability for the restaurant’s financial success, achieving annual sales and cash flow goals, and creatively marketing through community engagement and promotional events.

The General Manager position requires working a flexible schedule that covers lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts, demanding strong organizational and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced kitchen and customer-facing environment. The role is physically demanding, with the need to stand and walk for up to 10 hours daily, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle temperature variations while maintaining excellent communication with crew members and guests. Job Requirements

  • Previous restaurant management experience including responsibility for scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting
  • Ability to work lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work in varied temperature environments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Be guest obsessed - uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
  • Ensure speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest obsessed experience
  • Be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and hiring, people processes and performance management
  • Train and develop crew members, shift leaders, and Apprentices, utilizing Chipotle's training tools and resources
  • Direct our team members to deliver accurate and on-time digital orders
  • Be accountable for the day-to-day operational business of your restaurant (creating and managing a schedule, P&L control and management, sales-forecasting, recruiting and interviewing)
  • Ensure the dining room remains clean and the restaurant is always guest-ready
  • Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
  • Be accountable for overall financial success of the restaurant, achieving annual sales & cash flow plan
  • Work a schedule that includes lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts to provide leadership across all hours of operation
