Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to speak and read English
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Certification through assigned IHOP training courses
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to apply common sense to instructions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to speak and read English and interpret safety rules and instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Certification through assigned IHOP training courses

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with restaurant employees, corporate and regional employees, and guests
  • Implement the Craft Training program for all hourly employees
  • Execute financial, marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives as defined by SOP and operational plans
  • Manage the restaurant floor and maintain contact with guests, handle complaints professionally and timely
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Recruit, train, and retain employees, conduct coaching and administer compensation plans
  • Ensure food compliance with specifications, recipes, and presentation standards
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies timely
  • Maintain equipment and premises according to regulations and SOP
  • Enforce sanitation practices and food safety procedures
  • Develop and maintain a safety program including safety committees and meetings
  • Ensure security practices as per SOP
  • Implement marketing promotions and maintain promotional materials
  • Complete required reports and paperwork accurately and timely
  • Perform other assigned duties
