Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous management experience in a restaurant environment
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently and clearly
- Strong math abilities including addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional climbing or balancing
- Ability to use personal computers and various software programs
- Availability to work shifts exceeding 50 hours per week
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including hiring, training, evaluation and discipline
Job Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in restaurant or fast food management
- Proficiency in inventory control and ordering
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Excel and Word
- Ability to handle cash and perform deposits accurately
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
Job Duties
- Manage a staff of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 3-50 employees in excess of 50 hours of labor each week
- Assign, oversee and evaluate work for compliance
- Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline and termination of employees
- Provide on the job training for new employees
- Delegate and be responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning and paper supplies to ensure minimum loss from waste or theft
- Assist in supervision, preparation, sales and service of food
- Forecast food items by estimating what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift
- Supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty
- Assist in shoppers during rush periods to maintain restaurant efficiency
- Ensure every customer receives world class customer service
- Route deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery business and speed
- Complete daily food preparations (opening procedures, meat and vegetables slicing, bread production)
- Execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness
- Complete daily, weekly and period paperwork with accuracy
- Control inventory using weekly inventory system and maintain regular inventory ordering schedules
- Conduct weekly manager meetings
- Audit systems and procedures as well as shift ending paperwork
- Complete preventative maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies
- Perform other related duties as required
- Manage 100% of the cash drawers during the shift
- Manage deposits and change orders per Deposit Operating Procedure
