Job Description

Cloud Cannabis and Stash Ventures represent more than just a typical cannabis company. Positioned within the rapidly evolving Midwest cannabis market, these companies embody a mission to create a vertically integrated cannabis enterprise that is both successful and influential. The collective vision extends beyond mere profitability to dominate the Midwest region as one of the most knowledgeable and capable cannabis providers. Through their associated brands—High Minded, Timber Cannabis Co., and Cloud Cannabis Co.—they provide more than products; they offer enriching opportunities for personal and professional growth within the thriving cannabis industry.

The companies are deeply committed to core values that guide their operations and culture. These values include connecting with people, genuine care, authenticity, inspiration, and driving business success. At their essence, they are easy to do business with and uphold principles of adaptability, diversity, and inclusivity, ensuring a supportive environment for both employees and customers. A strong emphasis on education, inclusiveness, and community involvement helps to foster a workplace and customer base that feel valued and respected.

Cloud Cannabis and Stash Ventures are dedicated to upholding high standards of reliability, honesty, efficiency, and quality in their work and products. Their passion lies in not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations while giving back to the communities where they live and operate.

The General Manager role at these entities is pivotal in executing the company’s operational goals and cultivating a high-performing dispensary team. This leadership position involves ensuring dispensary compliance with strict security and regulatory standards at both local and state levels. The General Manager inspires and guides staff to deliver unparalleled customer service while prioritizing the safety and satisfaction of every individual entering the dispensary.

A key responsibility includes educating staff about medical cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption methods, ensuring the team is well-informed to assist customers effectively. This role also encompasses setting ambitious sales, service, and profitability targets and leading the team toward exceeding these goals by fostering motivation and accountability.

Additionally, the General Manager collaborates closely with Inventory Specialists and Procurement Managers to maintain an adequate and high-quality product supply. Staffing duties such as hiring, scheduling, and ongoing coaching are part of this role’s core functions to maintain operational excellence.

This position requires a keen ability to analyze and interpret various documents related to dispensary performance, safety protocols, security measures, business trends, and government regulations. Strong written communication skills are essential for crafting reports, business correspondence, and operational manuals. The General Manager is also responsible for developing and implementing operational plans and managing dispensary policies and procedures.

Operational management extends to maintaining financial documentation, inventory tracking, customer trend analysis, and the oversight of sales and purchasing reports. Competency in dispensary sales and inventory management software is required to ensure smooth daily operations and strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for a dynamic leader passionate about advancing their career in the cannabis industry and contributing meaningfully to a company devoted to community, education, and ethical business practices. The General Manager will play a key role in shaping a dispensary environment that upholds the highest standards in service, compliance, and product quality, aligning with the vision of becoming the leading cannabis company in the Midwest.
