Job Description

BKC is a leading fast-food restaurant brand known for its commitment to delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service. As a part of a global network of restaurants, BKC prides itself on its strong community ties, innovative marketing efforts, and a focus on maintaining operational excellence. With a widespread presence, BKC offers a dynamic work environment that encourages growth, development, and a focus on team-driven success. Their restaurants serve a diverse customer base, combining fast and friendly service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere to provide an outstanding dining experience. As part of their dedication to excellence, BKC prioritizes profitability, guest satisfaction, team development, and operational efficiency at each restaurant location.

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at BKC holds a vital leadership role, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and profitability of a single restaurant. Reporting to the District Manager, the RGM directly manages a team consisting of an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and 20-45 Team Members. This executive leadership position demands a keen focus on financial outcomes, customer experience, and employee management. The RGM is tasked with managing the restaurant's P&L (Profit and Loss), analyzing key financial metrics, and driving sales through superior guest service, staff development, and effective operational management.

In their leadership capacity, the RGM actively motivates and directs the team to exceed guest expectations by delivering accurate, friendly, and fast service within a clean and inviting restaurant environment. Managing guest feedback is a key component of this role, requiring the RGM to respond promptly to concerns and resolve issues by identifying root causes and implementing strategic improvements. Engaging with the local community forms another critical part of this responsibility, as the RGM promotes local marketing initiatives to attract prospective guests.

Furthermore, the RGM leads recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring that the restaurant team is both effective and motivated. They guide team members through certification and training programs, establish individual and team recognition initiatives, and provide coaching to improve performance and capabilities across all staff levels. Operational oversight includes managing labor with optimal staffing and shift scheduling, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies, and upholding brand standards to deliver consistency and quality.

This role requires the ability to perform duties of the Assistant Manager and Hourly Shift Coordinator when needed, fostering a hands-on approach to leadership. The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED (with 2 years of college preferred), and have 1-2 years of restaurant management experience. Strong understanding of P&L management, leadership skills, and knowledge of guest service principles are essential for success. The position demands availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and the flexibility to work long or irregular shifts to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

BKC is an equal opportunity employer that encourages all qualified applicants to apply. This role not only offers the chance to lead a vibrant team but also provides an opportunity to grow within a globally recognized brand focused on customer satisfaction, team empowerment, and operational excellence.
