As a General Manager at Skyline Chili, you will play a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire operational aspects of the restaurant. This includes directing the team to achieve on-target financial results while maintaining high standards of safety, security, hospitality, quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager is the driving force behind ensuring that all established policies and procedures are rigorously followed, aligning with the company’s standard operating procedures, human resource policies, and strategic directives. Your leadership will ensure that customers are promptly and professionally served according to Skyline’s guidelines, contributing to superior guest satisfaction.

The role involves selecting, training, directing, developing, and supervising restaurant team members to build a strong, efficient, and motivated workforce. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining efficient restaurant services delivered in line with company policies and standards, establishing good business relationships with customers, and ensuring that any inquiries or issues are resolved promptly and effectively. Staffing responsibilities also include ensuring that personnel are well-trained, coordinated, and working in harmony to deliver excellent customer service.

Additional responsibilities include managing accurate and timely preparation of required reports and records, offering suggestions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, and fostering positive working relationships with both restaurant and corporate personnel. Profitability is a key focus, and you will be tasked with maintaining restaurant profitability in line with company expectations.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in the restaurant industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
