Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and accessing all areas of the restaurant
  • Compliance with state age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
  • Capability to manage staff, operations, and finances effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience in restaurant management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability in employee coaching and team building
  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic business math and accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifts including weekends
  • Role model in employee appearance and professionalism
  • Experience preferred in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant environments
  • College or culinary education preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and health regulations

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations including staff supervision and execution of company policies
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance and handling employee relations including discipline and termination
  • Ensure a high level of employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the team
  • Maximize restaurant sales through suggestive selling and efficient table turnover
  • Greet guests and handle food quality and service issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • Maintain safety, health, sanitation, and security standards in compliance with applicable laws and company policies
  • Control operational costs including food, labor, and inventory through effective management and adherence to budgets
  • Oversee facility maintenance and company assets
  • Perform P&L management and financial reporting
  • Handle all other duties as assigned
