Job Requirements

  • Current student or high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old and fluent in English
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
  • Access to a phone or reliable communication method
  • Ability to delegate tasks
  • Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Strong people and guest service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • Confident, proactive, and willing to take on challenges
  • Ability to view operations from guest perspective
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems

Job Qualifications

  • Previous assistant general manager or general manager experience
  • Certified in all stations of DHC training program
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Effective communication skills

  • Skilled in problem solving and conflict resolution

Job Duties

  • Lead all restaurant activities and operations
  • Ensure team members and management meet job responsibilities
  • Follow DHC training program steps and communicate training needs
  • Complete operational walks and Q&A checks consistently
  • Schedule and monitor team attendance and time off
  • Ensure compliance with cooking, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and delegate duties
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally
  • Uphold uniform and appearance standards
  • Provide feedback and supervision to maintain productivity and morale
  • Enforce cash handling policies and procedures
  • Hire, train, schedule, and oversee teams
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, and maintenance
  • Develop strategies for efficiency and goal achievement
  • Focus on building sales and performance forecasting
  • Enforce company policies and support supervisory goals
  • Communicate effectively to resolve interpersonal issues
