The Restaurant Manager role at Sbarro holds significant responsibility in achieving the restaurant's objectives through effective leadership and operational management. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age minimum
  • Must be certified with appropriate state or local health department
  • Must possess appropriate license and permit to sell alcoholic beverages where applicable
  • Ability to work various schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, and stoop
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Willingness to transfer locations if necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3-5 years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills

Job Duties

  • Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to subordinate managers and team members
  • Ensure compliance with all company food safety, health, safety and sanitation requirements
  • Maintain safe working conditions by enforcing company safety, security and maintenance policies
  • Hire, develop, evaluate, coach and counsel managers and team members
  • Manage entire store operations including systems usage, recipe adherence, payroll, and guest interactions
  • Control profit and loss through cash control, inventory management, food cost, labor management, and financial reporting
  • Generate schedules to ensure appropriate coverage to drive sales and profits
  • Engage in local restaurant marketing efforts
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
