Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
  • Valid driver's license
  • Certification through assigned IHOP training courses

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills for speaking before groups
  • Proficiency in basic math including rate, ratio, and percent calculations
  • Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with employees and guests
  • Implement Craft Training program for hourly employees
  • Execute annual financial, marketing, guest service, and HR objectives
  • Manage restaurant floor and handle guest complaints professionally
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Recruit, train, and retain employees according to SOP
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies timely
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment and premises
  • Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive safety program
  • Implement security procedures and control cash handling
  • Execute marketing promotions and maintain promotional materials
  • Complete all required reports and maintain accurate personnel files
  • Perform other assigned duties
