Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of leadership experience
  • passion for fitness and personal development
  • ability to manage sales and close memberships
  • strong business knowledge and financial acumen
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience of 3 or more years in fitness, retail, military, or any team-driven environment
  • passion for health, fitness, and personal growth
  • strong business acumen with comfort in budgets, KPIs, and accountability
  • ability to own sales and build authentic relationships
  • energy, positivity, and resilience with zero tolerance for toxic behavior
  • a servant-leader mindset with dedication and commitment
  • demonstrated problem-solving skills under pressure
  • coachable and persistent with a willingness to handle rejection

Job Duties

  • Lead all pre-sales efforts including building local relationships, driving leads, and closing memberships with confidence and enthusiasm
  • represent D1 Buffalo in the community as the local ambassador
  • recruit, hire, and onboard a high-performing team aligned with D1’s mission and values
  • build early culture by modeling discipline, teamwork, and positivity
  • lead and inspire staff to deliver an elite training experience
  • grow member numbers by closing memberships
  • facilitate weekly meetings and coach employees for accountability and improvement
  • manage financial performance and meet monthly with ownership to review key metrics
  • maintain a world-class facility and positive culture
  • be a visible and engaged leader on the floor, in the office, and in the community
