Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant industry
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Capability to carry up to 50 lbs for short distances
- Ability to balance and move up to 25 lbs for longer distances
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and financial transactions
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant management
- Proven track record as a restaurant manager
- Proficiency in POS systems and computer skills including email and spreadsheets
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial records
- Knowledge of health, safety and food preparation standards
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities
Job Duties
- Builds teams by identifying, recruiting and hiring the best talent
- Utilizes good performance management strategies to retain talent
- Coaches, develops and motivates Team Members following Capriotti's training standards
- Prepares team schedules balancing operational excellence, cost management, guest satisfaction and team morale
- Role models standards maintaining the culture for CAPtivating service
- Monitors compliance with health, safety and building regulations
- Prepares products according to Capriotti's specifications ensuring quality and consistency
- Responsible for cash management and bank deposits
- Monitors budgets, cost of goods sold, labor, payroll and other financial transactions
- Promotes salesmanship through suggestive-selling and a guest-focused mindset
- Implements effective purchasing, inventory, receiving and waste-monitoring procedures
- Participates and promotes brand-wide and local marketing initiatives
- Utilizes effective communication skills to build positive relationships with team members, guests and vendors
- Establishes an environment of trust within the shop
- Demonstrates emotional resilience and problem-solving skills under pressure
