Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant experience
  • management experience preferred
  • successful completion of corporate training program
  • ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
  • ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to work long hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant experience
  • management experience preferred
  • successful completion of corporate training program
  • strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills focusing on customer service
  • excellent time management skills
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • familiarity with food handling, safety, and restaurant guidelines
  • proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • Spanish language skills a plus

Job Duties

  • assist in managing the hiring and training of restaurant staff
  • work with manager to organize and oversee staff schedules including managing callouts to ensure proper coverage
  • work with manager to estimate and manage food, beverage, and labor costs
  • ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience
  • handle customer complaints and resolve issues diplomatically
  • proactively manage employees through development, training, and ensuring a great work environment
  • work with manager to conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
  • handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy
  • oversee and conduct daily inspection of food preparation ensuring health, safety, food handling, and hygiene compliance
  • work with manager on inventory and purchase of food and supplies
  • evaluate restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance and schedule service
  • collaborate with executive team to develop programs to drive revenue growth
  • maintain sales records and track cash receipts
  • prepare and submit reports requested by corporate leadership
  • perform other duties as assigned
