Job Description
Burgermaster is a locally owned, family-operated restaurant chain that has proudly served its community since 1952. Renowned for its dedication to quality and tradition, Burgermaster specializes in serving local, grass-fed beef burgers in a unique drive-in style format that evokes the feel of a neighborhood diner. This combination of classic diner charm with fast-food efficiency has made Burgermaster a beloved brand with a loyal customer base across multiple locations. As a family-owned business, Burgermaster values community, family, and quality service, all delivered in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Burgermaster is currently expanding its footprint as a fast-casual restaurant group and is seeking a General Manager to join their growth-oriented team. This role offers an exciting leadership opportunity within a company that values operational excellence, innovation, and a passion for the restaurant industry. The General Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all facets of the restaurant including staff management, cost control, customer satisfaction, and compliance with health and safety standards. The position calls for a hands-on leader who is committed to fostering a team environment that promotes growth, learning, and accountability.
In this role, you will assist with the management of hiring and training staff, organize schedules to ensure adequate coverage, and manage costs related to food, beverage, and labor in collaboration with the Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction by addressing concerns with professionalism and tact. Employee development will be a core responsibility, including conducting performance evaluations and managing disciplinary actions as necessary.
This position involves a combination of office work, restaurant floor supervision, and direct engagement with staff and customers. The General Manager will also be involved in inventory management, equipment maintenance, and reporting to Corporate Leadership. The role requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and the physical ability to traverse the restaurant promptly and lift up to 50 pounds.
The salary for this role ranges from $87,000 to $100,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities. This comprehensive compensation package reflects the level of responsibility and leadership needed to drive the success of this growing restaurant group. Benefits included are health, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation, sick pay, paid meals while on shift, and a 401(k) plan.
Joining Burgermaster means becoming part of a company with a rich history that is dedicated to providing quality food and a supportive work environment. It is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career in restaurant management within a company that cares about its team members and its community.
