Job Description

This job opportunity is with a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, distinctly separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, allowing them to operate under the iconic McDonald’s brand while functioning as an independent business entity. Consequently, this franchisee is the sole employer responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling employees at the restaurant. It is important to note that McDonald’s USA does not control employment decisions and will not receive employment applications or be involved in the hiring process.

The restaurant in question is part of the global fast-food giant McDonald’s, recognized worldwide for delivering quality food quickly and efficiently in a welcoming, clean environment. This franchisee-operated establishment offers the consistent customer experience that McDonald’s is famous for, while having the independence to manage its own staff and operations. Hiring and developing both Department and Shift Managers is also a critical responsibility to maintain a strong leadership pipeline.

Candidates for this role should ideally have previous experience managing high-volume restaurant locations, preferably in quick service environments. Experience in hospitality or retail that involved team leadership and operations management is also valuable. The position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old.
